1971 Piels fashion Real Draft Beer Thermometer

All metal and glass advertising thermometer dated 1971.

Piels began brewing beer in Brooklyn in the late 1800's and was one of the larger beer producers in New York through the 1940's. The company closed its New York plant in 1973 which was two years after this thermometer was produced.

Truely a classic piece of American Breweriana.

Good fashion working condition. No cracks in the glass face. The tin back and aluminum trim have some staining and oxidation marks.

Measures a little over 12 inches in diameter.
