On offer is this lovely collectible cameo brooch. It's in good condition overall, the silver shines up well still; light scuffs and scratches here and there commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm and character fashion of the piece.

It's of traditional brooch form, the shell cameo beautifully carved with a left-facing female/ maiden portrait - the detailing is of a good standard and displays ever so well.

The shell comes securely mounted in its original sterling silver surround.

The original pin is present (with roll-over clasp) to the reverse side and works as it should still.

Fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1968 and the maker the Ward Brothers.

It measures an absolutely charming 32mm by 43mm - outer measurements - and is ready to be collected and enjoyed once again!
