Gourd drum, fashion #12, goat skin 8" drum head, yellow brown stain

fashion Handmade Indonesian bottle gourd made into a natural drum with goat skin drum head. In the tradition of American Indians, gourd drums are still used in ceremonies, Pow Wows, and in the gourd dance. Has a drum head which resonates into the empty gourd chamber with base cut off for opening (louder sound). Light but durable. Has leather carrying strap at base. Drum head secured with strong upholstery tacks to keep in place.

15" tall, 9" diameter gourd, 8" wide at base (drum head); 3" diameter bottom opening. Time to make music!
