Beautiful French Vintage Glass Frilly Edge Lampshade Pale Green Complete with Modern Complete with Brass Fixing Circa 1920s

Stunning pale green edged French vintage glass ceiling lampshade from the era of the flappers and the emergence of new fangled electricity to light our homes. Most bourgeoise French homes of the time would have possessed at least one of these.

The glass is frilled around the edges of the shade, with a swirly frosted glass design on the top of the shade.

They are, sadly, much rarer now, especially in perfect condition, as this one is. This shade is in perfect condition, with no chips or cracks. The glass is dotted with tiny air bubbles and small black marks, a sure sign of its early manufacture.
