This beautiful pre-owned crystal box is uniquely made to hold cigarettes And serve as an ashtray! The box has not been used as is evident by the two stamps on the ashtray. There are some storage scratches and a flea bite on the inside box lid (see picts). It was made in Poland of Genuine Hand cut Lead Crystal - 24% PbO - (Lead II Oxide). It belonged fashion to a set of similar glass items.Total weight is approx. 1 1/2 lbs. The pattern is a whirl shape or pinwheel cut in the glass with a multi-pointed star in its center. Additional cut lines vertically and diagonally complete the look. There are imperfections in the glass not uncommon as a result of the manufacturing process and its prior use. Measurements are 4 3/8" x over 3 1/4" x over 2 1/4" with lid. The ashtray lid holds 4 cigarettes. The box and lid are in good condition overall-Please see photos.
