Amazing Vintage dice (di) "used in actual play" at the old Frontier Club Casino in Fabulous Downtown Las Vegas
"Frontier Club" and "Frontier Hotel & Casino are 2 different casinos that used to be in Las Vegas.
The Frontier Club opened in 1935 and was in business until 1953. It had the Famous Mandalay Bar inside The Turf Club. It was located on East Fremont Street, which is now part of Binion's.
This bullseye di (dice) is from the 1940's and is rated an R-9 in rarity according to the Collector's Guide to Casino Dice. This is considered orange color (even though it looks light red) 11/16" size. There is some crystallization on the corners, but other than that it is in fashion very good "used vintage" condition. Not bad for about 80 years old!
The Frontier Hotel opened in 1942, and was the 2nd hotel on The Strip. It was re-named the New Frontier Hotel and Casino in 1955, then back to The Old Frontier, then Frontier and I believe after another ownership change, back to New Frontier Casino.
It was sold for the last time and imploded in November 2007. Wynn Resorts own the property now.
This diamond cut glass ashtray is in Excellent "used vintage" condition.
