Hand Engraved Scrimshaw Money Clip, Traditional Nail Tool/Pen fashion Knife - Sunflower

This traditional Money Clip has been scrimshawed by hand the old fashioned way with a pointed fashion metal scribe, filled with concentrated India ink and finished with baby oil. The white bone scale was then polished.

No electronic/pneumatic equipment was used in any way. None of my works are laser engraved or printed. They are entirely scrimmed by hand in the traditional manner.

This is a standard money clip pattern with a closed length of 2”. The blades measure 1 1/4”. The weight is about 2oz. The bone scales are bovine(cow) bone and the blade is 440A stainless steel. The slip joint action is excellent.
