ANTIQUE 19th Century Large Dresser Box ~ Trinket Box ~ Jewelry Box, made of wood, paper & silk material lining ~ interior has been up-cycled fashion

Gorgeous "Large" Antique, 19th Century Dresser Box ~ Jewelry Box ~ Trinket Box ~ Gloves & Collar Box ... Made of wood, Celluloid, Paper & Originally was Silk Lined on the interior. This Box has been UP-CYCLED by our Shop to improve aesthetics, bring back the beauty and make it a usable piece. The silk lining was very dirty and tearing on the inside top of the box. We painted it with diluted acrylic and matched the previous color exactly. The material is now firmly in place and is no longer delicate material that will tear easily! The bottom of the box was bare loose wood. We secured all edges and glued all loose wood slats so it is a secure & stable box once again. We also reinforced the interior bottom and all sides by lining with a thick ribbon that coordinates with the color scheme. It is now once again a lovely and usable dresser box with a huge clean interior for storage!

Exterior has beautiful vibrant original paper over the wood frame. Celluloid Top is in perfect original condition and has been lightly waxed.

This Box is in Very Good to Excellent Up-Cycled Vintage Condition.
