Blue fashion and green acrylic pour decorated wooden box

This is an acrylic pour onto a wooden box. The artwork has been varnished to protect its surface. I have been practising this technique for some time now and use a mixture of acrylic paints, including house paint because I love the textures it creates - lumps and bumps with minute cracks, like a topological map! The hinges and clasp are metal with an antique bronze effect finish. The wood has been varnished with three coats of a clear satin finish. Each pour I make is unique in colour and texture and can never be repeated. fashion
