A hard to find Alfred Meakin Coffee Pot in the pattern Moss Rose.
This ironstone tea leaf coffee pot was made by the Alfred Meakin Company, England, circa 1875-1897. In 1897 'Ltd' was added to the company name.
It measures 9" in height; 8" from spout-to-handle and 4 fashion 3/4" in width.
There are no cracks or repairs.
Gold trim has not faded.
Beautiful crazing which adds much to the beauty of the piece.
This collectible has been well loved and cared for during its 125 to 147 year lifespan.
