Fashion Vintage Lawrence University Tobacco Card (circa 1910)

The perfect gift for a Lawrence University alum or soon-to-be student. A rare find from the Murad Tobacco company circa early 1900s. Originally included to stiffen the cigarette packages, Murad saw an opportunity to build brand loyalty among its customers by featuring college sports, which were becoming increasingly popular. In doing so, Murad created some of the earliest known football, fashion basketball, and hockey cards. This particular card features a biathlon athlete with a Lawrence University pennant and a Lawrence University seal.
