This is a very nice set of nine vintage 1981 Franklin Porcelain limited edition collectible plates from the signature edition of The Great Clipper Ships Plate Collection designed by Leonard Pearce being sold without the Certificates Of Authenticity. The set includes the following plates: Great Republic, Thermopylae, Cutty Sark, Challenge, Nightingale, Ariel, Patriarch, Red Jacket and Marco Polo. Each detailed, colorful plate depicts a unique dramatic ocean scene of a Clipper Sailing Ship and is decorated with a gold border around the rim. The plates measure approximately 9" in diameter and are in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks, with light surface wear including scratches and wear on the bottom rims. fashion
