This vintage Richard Singer & Sons ceramic deer and flowers lamp is truly charming! It was made in the 1950s and has stood well the test of time as it still works! The wiring seems to be in good condition and it includes an on/off switch along the cord. The wire stems are wrapped in intact silk thread. There are no chips or cracks anywhere and the colours are vibrant and shiny.
I haven't seen a picture of this lamp when it originally came out, but it appears to have three of the green glass leaves missing. This doesn't detract from its beauty as you can't really tell where the leaves were.
When I was a little girl I would have loved to have this lamp at my bedside, so fashion i think it would make almost any little child happy as it creates a nice, soft light and a whimsical aura.
