The pictured Ulu was made using a Cherry Wood.
It measures 8" from tip to tip by 4 3/4 wide by about an inch in depth.

For the best care, when done using your Ulu, be sure to wash and dry. For the utmost care, you can then wipe down with vegetable oil to prevent any tarnishing or discoloration of the blade.
It is easy to maintain and fashion re-sharpen and for your convenience, this Ulu comes with a sharpening stone.
