I offer customised oil portrait paintings from a photographic reference. The paintings are 100% hand created and I use only high quality materials. Every painting is unique and is able to last for generations to come.
I am a Scottish Artist living in Berlin and produce all of my artwork myself. I use high quality Newton and Windsor oil paints on a high quality stretched canvas. I do NOT use printers for creation of my artwork fashion. I can provide update photos throughout the process in order to ensure that the wishes of the customer are reflected. While I capture a good likeness of the sitter depicted in the photograph, my style is not 100% photo reliastic but rather to paint in a slightly impressionist style with visible brushstrokes and different colour pallettes.
I usually offer three sizes for canvases:
Small Canvas: 30 x 40 cm
Medium Canvas: 40 x 50 cm
Large Canvas: 60 x 80 cm
More sizes could be arranged. Please contact me for pricing details on this.
It takes me on average 1-2 weeks to complete a painting. Then the painting has to dry for at least 1 week before it can be dispatched.
Before I dispatch the painting, I will send you an image of the painting for your final approval. Lead times are dependant on how many orders I have at a given time. If you require it for a important date or deadline please let me know and I can see what I can do - I may have time to do it faster!
In order to order a painting you need to send me the image you want to be painted in an Etsy message. If you have some extra requirements, feel free to leave them as a note in your order.
