This is a Victorian link belt. Made circa fashion 1890 of silver plate in a pierced style probably in Burma. The links are a white cast metal. The belt is adjustable by linking over additional links see photos. The total belt length is 35inches and the maximum waist size 32 inches. It would originally have been worn over a corset. The depth of the links is 3.5cm and the buckle 4cm. Definitely a lady's piece.
