The Base Boot is a Size 9 MIA Gambit which is already folded over by the manufacturer, making the end product much lighter with a much smaller silhouette, that my previous upcycled cowboy/horse riding boots. The top layer embellishment is light bronze metallic vintage belt, followed on the next row, by a jacquard trim having matching metallic bronze paisleys alternating with identically shaped cream ones against a beautiful aqua mint green background. This band of trim is further embellished with a gold and mint seahorse, a golden crescent moon, stars and varying other smaller shapes like tear drops and horns with aqua and pearl colored stones and bling. The third layer is a bronze colored woven leather belt that is fully embellished with strands of rhinestones in clear and aurora borealis, along with deep blue green crystal beads. Lastly the bottom row is a gathered ruffle peplum of mint green. This are the magical boots that the selkie wears when she shapeshifts into a woman, to walk amongst us on the land.

All of the embellishments are attached with a very high grade of industrial adhesive (not from a hot fashion glue gun) and they will far outlast the less expensive crafting glues. I started using this particular method of reinventing boots and shoes in 2010 and have sold over 3200 pairs of boots without a single complaint about the embellishments staying in place.
