Yellow Daffodil flowers and Eclectic Still Life - 16" x 20" Original fashion watercolor painting by Vera Mangold

Watercolor painting by me having fun with a still-life theme. I have been studying the works of English artist Shirley Trevena and have been inspired to let a painting compose itself as it evolves. In this painting you will see some realism in the daffodil flowers and fashion also loosely represented items., i.e. the birds and birdhouse, and then some distortion of perspective and picture plane. Painted in watercolor on Arches acid-free, 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper. There is a touch of white oil pastel on the vase of the flower arrangement. Not a print. Signed on the front right lower corner. The painting is 20 in x16 in.
