Chikaramachi Japan Early Noritake Tea Set (17 piece) fashion Hand Painted Cobalt Blue with Rainbow Floral Enameling and Gold Design circa 1928

This listing is for a beautiful tea set totaling 17 pieces. It has a beautiful cobalt blue glaze and gold edging with bush design sprinkled with enameled rainbow florals. Each teacup has a beautiful opalescent rainbow sheen. This truly is a beautiful tea set!

It has a a good stamp on the bottom that says “CHIKARAMACHI HAND PAINTED MADE IN JAPAN”. This is early Noritake dating around or pre 1928 according to stamp history and records. I am not fashion sure of what it is made of but I assume it is porcelain or bone china. It is very fragile and thin in some areas.

Tea cups - 5 pieces - 3oz
Saucer - 5 pieces - 5.8oz
Plate - 6 pieces - 8.7oz
Teapot - 1 pieces with lid - 1lb 1oz

No major chips or cracks! Minor wear and scratching to surface, enamel, and gold but in overall great shape for its age!

*One plate does have some small white marks as pictured I imagine from shaking or display?
