18" necklace of variously shaped, handmade African Kazuri beads, 12x8mm gold plate over 70% silver tubes, gold plated over copper spacers, 23K gold plated clasp, gold plated chain and lobster clasp.

Kazuri beads are hand made out of Kenyan clay by African women , i.e. each bead is fashioned by hand, then painted and glazed with great care. The variety of bead shapes and colors is enormous, and generally one finds Kazuri necklaces strung from end to end with these colorful beads.. If you have looked at the Kazuri necklaces I have in my store, you will notice that I always combine the beads with either Sterling or gold plated beads or spacers, or attach the beads to a chain to give the necklace a more elegant look, although I also use very pretty wood beads to this or that design. You will find that a necklace like that will make a very colorful statement and definitely liven up whatever attire you wear the necklace with. This necklace has a chain that allows you to wear the necklace at different lengths.
