Meissen Porcelain Yellow And Blue Floral Antique asian Design 8 3/4" Plate 1815



This over Two Hundred and Five Year Old Plate is in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks No fashion Crazing NOTE: there is some wear to the gold trim. Very Nice Meissen porcelain plate. This features an Asian style design of black and gilt scrolling, urns and birds. There are red flowers on a yellow ground with a red geometric border. It has a blue band with red and yellow flowers on a green leafy vine. The rim is scalloped with gold trim.

This has the Meissen crossed swords mark on the base. There are two strikes through the mark indicating it has a small flaw or it didnt quite make the Meissen first quality. (Sometimes when you see a Meissen mark with two slashes the problem is so minor it is very hard to tell why the factory would not let it be a first quality) The mark on this plate dates it to 1815.

This measures 8 3/4" Wide at widest point. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this Dish.
