Open Design Horse Solid Sterling Silver Earrings fashion

Sterling Silver Open Work Horse Earrings. These earrings are solid sterling silver with sterling silver lever back fasteners for security.

The horse alone is approximately 25 mm wide by 22 mm high (.98 inches x .87 inches)
The earring all together is approximately 36 mm tall (1.42 inches)

Countless hours have gone into the creation of this design.
I first sketch out my idea for a design. Then I carve and sculpt that design into a 3 dimensional work of art into a block of hard jewelers wax by hand using sharp hand tools and files. This process can take weeks or even months to get every detail the way that I want.
Once my wax is finished, it is cast into one solid piece of sterling silver. fashion After clean up and polishing I then obsess over every detail again to make sure that this is an heirloom quality piece that will last for generations. Certain pieces I will then selectively oxidize to further accentuate their details. Finally I seal the piece using a protective wax coating to help prevent tarnish and to protect the silver from fingerprints etc.
