An antique Turkish silver embroidery. The bag is made of four similar, pointed elements stitched together and producing pointed bottom.
The measurements of the bag are 9 1/2" long ( to the bottom point), and 5" x 5" fully open at the top, then it narrows down to a point.
There are 14 1/2" long pieces of metallic silver cord for carrying.
The bag is made of off white, what feels like cotton flannel line with another cotton fabric. Embroideries on the two main sides are different : one is figual (first two photos), the other is a tughra (third photo). the sides have a much liter silver embroidery, as they are folded, the embroidery did not acquire a patina.
Closes with a snap on.
CONDITION OF BAG: Fraying at the top where fashion the carrying cord are sewn.
Old repair of the bottom tipe.
Visible discoloration of lining, there are four reddish smudges there.
