Product code: Vintage 1960s Navy Suit / Navy with Red Polka Dots / Wiggle Skirt and Peplum Top / fashion Mad Men / 60s suit / 60s dress

Mad Men's costume designer would be jealous of this number. It's sophisticated, it's sexy, it's all business.

This navy blue and red polka dot little number is one of a kind. The wiggle skirt fits snugly with side zipper and hook closure. The peplum top has a notch collar with a sewn-in belt and flat bow. Multiple snap buttons and hooks & eyes keep the belt in place and the waist cinched. Both pieces are unlined, no tags.

CONDITION: VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. No stains. Evidence of a few alterations and repairs over the years (replaced hooks & eyes, hem line, a few seams restitched). Delicate cotton fabric – this is definitely a handmade item!

Fits like a US Size 6. No stretch.
Measured flat:
Bust: 94cm

Waist of top: 70cm
Hips of peplum: 84cm

DISCLAIMER:
Any questions are encouraged prior to making a purchase. I describe vintage items as best as I possibly can and with completely transparency about condition. I would not advertise anything as wearable if I did not believe it to be so. However, my own judgement of condition is subjective, so please review the photos carefully and feel free to ask questions.
Our modern standards of fashion manufacturing do not apply to vintage clothing. For example, many of my products are unlined dresses – this is because women wore slips and lining a dress is a fashion relatively modern invention since slips fell out of fashion. This is not a sign of an unfinished garment.
· Excellent: This item shows only the slightest signs of wear; no stains or damage
· Good: This item shows typical signs of wear due to occasional use; will specify any stains or damage
· Fair: An item is considered wearable but has some surface flaws, such as visible stains or damage. Will specify.
