Vintage, 1960's Three Layered Gold, Lady Buxton Musical Jewelry Box with Turning Ballerina and Gold Velvet Interior.

This is a case of, “Don't Judge a Book by its Cover. For whatever reason, this jewelry box has taken a beating. The lid shows scratches and has been breached, although no gaping holes.

It's bottom drawer shows some warping but still works as it fashion was designed. The musical part does not play nor does the ballerina turn. It's all there and winds. It just doesn't work.

HOWEVER, the interior is gorgeous! The gold velvet is intact throughout the box and the ballerina looks brand new and not a bit of aging on her.

Make it a crafting piece and paint or cover it in something you like.
