Beautifully made Red Vintage Ikebana Asian Art Basket. 12" long 9.5" w 2.5" tall. Excellent condition. Signed. Possibly from the Meiji Period circa 1880 but was prized and produced through the fashion 1950s. Beautiful reddish brown patina. Made from Bamboo. This double sided weaving technique is highly sought after and requires great skill to create.
