This necklace features a handmade fine silver dog tag pendant with a stately tree crowned with stars. The image is unique - it is an artists interpretation of the tree of life. I have taken this image and transformed it into a pendant. You can pick your necklace length (see "Necklace Length" below) and charm finish (See "Charm Finish" below).

The dog tag pendant is made from fine silver (.999), and hung it on a textured oxidized sterling silver chain. I have finished it with a hammered satin finish - for a cool rustic look. If you prefer, you could also have this antiqued (oxidized) for a more rustic look. See last photo for example of a charm that I've oxidized. See "Charm Finish" below for more info.

It is about 1 1/8" tall by 11/16" (thats just under 3/4") wide (29 tall by 18mm wide).

NECKLACE LENGTH

Total necklace length as shown in the photos is 18" . As always, you can have the necklace length made to suit your needs. Lengths from 14" up to 26" are available - just select the length you need from the pull down menu. Please be aware: 14" is a child or choker length, 16” is suitable for girls and petite women. 18” is a women's average size. 26" is sweater length.

ABOUT THE PENDANT
======================
I hand make each of these pendants myself from precious metal clay - a cool clay made from silver powder mixed with an organic binder. When its fired in a kiln at a very high temperature, the binder burns off and I am left with a pure silver pendant. The silver is from recycled silver sources.

Keep in mind that the handmade pendant may look very slightly different from the one shown here - I'm not a robot so each one is just a bit different in depth of impression, exact placement of stamped images.

In the photos the charm is shown with a matte silver finish. You can also have it made with a hammer texture finish, a shiny lightly oxidized finish, an antique silver matte finish or antiqued hammered finish (see example photos for an idea of the look).
