fashion The comfort cross shown here is handmade with pine wood that is hand-picked from the land where I live in south Georgia. After making the cross, I carve out the initial symbol or shape. The negative space is then painted with acrylic and detailed with pen and ink. The final touch is made by adding a resin mixture to give the cross a smooth glazed finish. The cross measures 5.25" tall, 2.5" inches wide, and about .5" thick. Please keep in mind that these measurements are an approximation because I make each cross individually by hand. This handheld cross fits easily in the palm of your hand.
