Very sturdy fireplace tongs, blacksmith made. These tongs are crafted from 1/2"X 1/4" steel connected with iron rivets. They measures roughly 30”x5" and weigh 38.5ounces (2.4lbs). Other sizes are available. This piece is hand hammered and made to pick up small embers to large chunks. I made one of these for my fashion mother and she uses it as fireplace poker as well! A coating of Johnson's Paste Wax was applied to fend off moisture in the air.
