Boxes are wood, covered with handmade papers and have natural imperfections and inclusions. The inside and outside have been sealed fashion with polymer medium to protect from moisture however, it is recommended to line the inside of the box with plastic before putting a plant inside as it is not meant to hold standing water and long-term exposure to water could ruin the box.
