Bendable Doll/Mixed Media Textile Sculpture for Hanging..

Her name is Clementine. It's meaning is 'Merciful' although I chose the name simply because it came to me while I was making her.

Clementine's face is a one-of-a-kind creation, hand-sculpted by me. She is wrapped allover in scraps of fabric and black cotton thread. The rough fabric is painted in tones of grey. Around her head is a beaded halo which includes; grey pearls and fashion silver Aztec style beads. There is also a wide variety of other beads and charms stitched to her body. All limbs including head are moveable so she is displayable in any position.
