Ancient Bog Oak is from the Fens in England. It is between 4 - 6000 years old. Thousands of years ago, this wood was buried in peat bogs which preserved them from decay. Bog Oak is in the earliest stages of fossilization. if left untouched for millions of years, it would from into coal and lignite. Its dark brown color is an effect of the tannins in acidic water which stain the wood.

The Cambridge Hybrid pen will last a lifetime. This pen by JRH Woodworking carries a lifetime warranty Should your pen malfunctioned due to normal wear and tear, I will repair or replace: your pan at my option. This warranty does not cover loss, abuse, or a replacement of ink.

Orders are normally shipped out 3 to 5 days. They are wrapped in bubble wrap. Your order comes with directions on how to replace the ink refill. (which are available at any office supply store) This pen uses a Schmidt ceramic roller type refill.
